Not sure where to post this....my apologies in advance if wrong section.
Just wanting to give some kudos to Garrett customer service team. Talked with a lady (Sue I believe). I explained to her that my Scorpion Gold Stinger was having a bit of a discrimination issue the last couple of days. Told her I believe the issue to be the control pot behind the knob...some dust and such appeared to be in there and all my attempts to get it out have failed.
She took about 2-3 minutes of searching and said a new control knob and pot was on the way. No charge since it was only $2....she was glad to help.
They also sent me a new foam handle for it as well in a previous phone conversation.
A 1991 series detector (mine is a later 2003 model) and they have supplied me with 2 replacements parts for free.
They have my future business!
