Garrett GTA1000 Power Master?

While I was out at my local auction house Friday, came across this Garrett, it's from around '93-'95. Couldn't find anyone with a definitive price on it. It had headphones, takes 8 AA batteries and had a screen weather guard. A few people were wanting it. I threw 110$ at it and won. Anyone know anything about this particular model? Or know if it was a good find. Regardless, I'm happy I was just wondering if it's a nice detector, and if the price was good. Some other sites said it listed at $1200.00 back in '93. Any input is very appreciated!

I sold a few of those in the early 90s...one to my brother he still uses it and it`s a good machine.
Battery box slides off the top of shaft to hip mount .
One Garrett`s first attempt in digital machines. Hold in the on button for 10 seconds ,and it`s a factory reset,and in coin mode as i remember ,and hunt.
