I guess if the guy knows how to operate it properly this is sad news. I started with Garrett fifty years ago and went to Minelab about ten years ago and still have a couple Garretts which have their place in the arsenal, but I think right now Minelab rules. I would have liked to see a multi Garrett that was as fast and deep as the Equinox for a better price and wider coil selection.

The guy is discriminating out iron, which is a rookie mistake. I hunt in pro zero mode with nothing discriminated out. I've found drawers full of coins and relics with that setup. I think this guy is just another Garrett basher looking to discredit the Apex.

Great test, thank you. Likely would require a coin shooter type coil.
