Garrett service experience

My back up detector is an older Garrett GTAx500 that works great, but the plastic battery inserts are both cracked and are getting more difficult to use. I decided I would email Garrett so I found an address on their website and sent an email asking how I could go about ordering a replacement. This machine is about 10 years old, not under any kind of warranty, and I am not the original owner. Well, in about 3 minutes I had a response back from them asking for my mailing address so that they could mail me the parts at no charge! Now THAT is service! Thank you Garrett.

Yeah there service dept is great my ace 150 is about a year out of warranty and yesterday I called them and they said to send it in and they would fix it under warranty
