Garrette Super Wand or Garrette Pro Pinpointer

I'm undecided to either buy the wand or the pro. PRO IS 12 KHZ and the wand is 95 KHz. I read at KellyCo that the wand can be used as a pinpointer in metal detecting. Any suggestions. Both of them are 360 degrees search coil also. THX

I ended up buying the Garrett Pro since I read great reviews on it and the Super Wand is used for security check although KellyCo said that can also be used as pinpointer.

Did you see their new waterproof one being released next month?

Yeah, but I couldn't wait, my detector should arrive this weekend. I'll probably get it when it comes out and have this one as an extra.

I'd call back for the pro pointer. The wand is just that "A Wand" to cover a large area for any signs of metal. Your working with a hole not much bigger then your fist. 90% of the time you'll pull out the object with the plug. The three inches of reach the pro pointer generally works with is perfect. That's why it's still the best and most popular ever made.
