In my area we had many small schools like this in rural areas. They show on old maps but the buildings themselves are long gone, torn down with little fanfare.I,ve got those locations marked on my maps, when it cools off I,m going to see if I can find some. Thanks again, great reading.

to find Pics I searched "One Room School Sold"

And "One Room School Saved"

Not all do, But some sent Photographers out to Get a Pic and add it to the stories.

remember because of size not all are in their original sites.
the wooden ones were easy to move.
not sure if the brick ones would be without dismantling them.

finding original sites, may produce un-hunted, or at least less hunted spots

Thanks, that,s good advice.I find most of mine by searching old maps of the area, they,re clearly marked by name and I like maps.

yep i use pa transportation maps.
they don't list names, but most sites are marked

Topos brother, topos.Old forward observer, need to know where you,re at when you,re about to call down hundreds of pounds of high explosive.
