along the same stone pathway leading to the main entrance at 6" ----1834 LC then 4 feet away living under another slab---honkin' brass 2 1/2" X 1" (broken)maybe part of a big a$$ buckleon Tuesday I hit a public spot about 700 feet from the house and found what appears to be a sand cast VERY EARLY powder flask,, again brokenthanks to BRUCE R for leading me down the path in ID'ing this piece on the "what is it" forum. also got a clad dime and a road kill Jeff today and morestinkin' iron. next Tuesday we have a green light to resume the hunt---Ize be chompin' at da bit 'til then
