Hello here is a picture of Amethyst I found in Georgia. This is a 4.45 carat faceted stone set in gold with three quarters of a carat of diamonds. This stone came from the a deposit in Wilkes county GA. The faceted stone is flawless..... it does have some dust on it though! More pictures at my website www.myrddinscave.com

Ant - Hard to tell from that picture but amethyst is not usually set in GF jewelry.

A pendant like the one above (Dark Georgia amethyst) would sell to collectors for about $1,500.00.

I have turned down offers as high as $800.00 for the above Amethyst crystal.

Happy Hunting!

Thats my birthstone. It sure would look good aroud my NECK!! BEAUTIFUL!

Nothing quite like the feeling of pulling a stone like that out of the dirt and watching it transform into a piece of jewelry. Well, there may be a few things close to that feeling.

Awesome gems.

I visited Dahlonega 4 years in a row in July with no luck from panning the local creeks, 1 year the river was so deep from a hurricane i dared not go in.

I may just contact you the next time i plan a trip down there in hopes of finding Au.

Shoot me an email when ever you want to come down and look for gold! I am out digging somewhere almost every weekend. This time of year it's a bit too cold to be in the streams so I am usually out collecting gemstones, fossils or chasing down Native American & Spanish treasure signs.
