Geneology/Civil War buffs... need your help

I am looking to find the middle name or middle initial of a civil war soldier by the name of Edwin Morgan from Greenwood, Me.

Please help. I think I have his beltplate but want to confirm the middle initial since the last letter is not readable.

Found one from the 5th Maine Inf. but no middle initial. See if there are any records for the 5th Maine on line. You may get lucky and find a roster.

He died in 1910 at age 67 and his obit lists no initial.

Thank you! I did send them an email earlier. I was hoping some of you super research folks would have something sooner. The suspense is killing me.
