Decided to try a new spot, I can go back to copperfield anytime, and this spot doesn't always have short grass.

Certainly dug a lot more trash than the other day too.

The horse and rider I assume is a sportsman button, pretty fragile.
Two of the "flower" buttons.
The one with a trace of gold left on it, is super smooth, no corrosion what so ever.

At least I got something different for the collection, If it is a sportsman button, would be my second only, the other being a hound, or fox head.

That's a cool button. HH

Anything other then plain flat buttons is always nice! Good hunt! :icon_thumright:

Might be just the picture but that sure doesn't look like a George II bust. Can you see Britannia on the other side?

On 2nd thought I guess it's the old head and just the condition making it look different.

Yes, sorta, barely, assuming crude CFT.

I think probably regal-type-ish, just with major problems that make it look a little weird.

Still waiting for that spanish Rick or even a nice military button :headbang:
Nice digs as usual

ME TOO ! I want either bad.

I even had a little hallucination today, and thought I saw round Silver in the hole for a second.

cool sportsman button. is there a way to preserve it so it doesn't fall apart anymore?

If you can keep digging those early buttons it will happen because it's just a numbers game with a little luck involved. There's only so long they can be plain. (The most I have ever found without an early military was about 110 and that is very bad luck here)

Your George I shilling is a tougher find to make than Spanish so you have already beat the odds once. Spanish should happen soon, just keep finding places that have old targets and it will.

When it rains it pours Rick

Keep em coming man :icon_thumleft:
