George Washington Token

[TxSchelter]

Found this token today. Probably nothing special just wondering its origin/age if anyone could help I would appreciate it. It's the size of a half dollar and heavy.

I think it's one of those game pieces given to customers who purchased gas from Shell in the 70's; certain ones could be traded for prizes.

[Tony in SC]

There was a set of these tokens before the Shell sets. I think from the 40's maybe, and they were heavier brass? Tony
