i plan to go to north part of ga. any one knows a good place to pan for gold,a county or town will help a lot

Try the Chattahoochee National Forest but it's pan only and check with the local rangers. Also the streams that feed lake Allatoona have good color, try the east side of the lake. Plenty of pay to pan sites in the Dahlonega area too.
