I purchased these today from an estate sale, and don't know much about them. They all appear to be in excellent condition, with no cracks or chips.

The one on the left is 8.75" tall, 11" to top of lid. The only mark I can find is on the handle, just a small mark that says "west germany". Also has a wind up music box in the bottom that works.

The other two are 11" tall, and both have a mark on the bottom that say's KW with a star at the top and an oval at the bottom.

Does anyone know what they may be worth??

Thanks,

Ron

Re: German beer steins

nice looking. I don't know except that they are not cheap. Last trip to Germany we looked at some small ones that were $40 or more. That was 10 years ago.

How about a pic of the KW mark?

I can't get a good picture of the KW mark, it's barely readable.

Thanks TT and ALL for your input,

Ron

OK, I went ahead and attempted some close up pics.

Here's a little info about the mark and maker: Welcome to Stein Marks.

Generally speaking, these steins are not very rare or collectible by most stein collectors (who are looking for German made steins). These are Japanese are generally considered to be 'knock off' steins.
