Gold Gulden
Cologne, Germany, about 1480.

Hermann von Hessen, 1480-1508
Minted in Bonn

Diametre 2,2 centimetres

How rare is that coin? What area of the country were you in?

Hello again :)

The coin was found on an island in Denmark, Europe !
On the top of a hill.
It was found in a depth of 6 centimetres.

The coin is very rare in this part of Europe !

A find like this is what keeps us going...congrats to you and the Banner find...any idea about what might have been in the area that many centuries ago, or was this a purely lucky find...more details for the inquiring minds here in Fla...on the Treasure Coast...you are in a Special Club of Gold Finders !!!
 

You ever wonder what kind of history that coin had? Who owned it and how it came about so many years ago on top of a hill.
