German WW2 helmet with nice decal ( Narwa front )

[Notsu]

German Wehrmacht helmet with battle damage ...
( NARWA battlefield ,end of summer `44 )

A real piece of history - congrats !

Nice one, do you assume that damage was sustained while it was being worn. Like the German soldier died wearing it? Probably no way to tell huh?

[mindcrime1988]

Quite rare to find one in the wild with the decal in such good condition.

That's a very nice recovery, congrats!

Very nice relic helmet. Probably one of the nicest relic condition ones I've seen. In case anyone here is wondering what the chain link thing is, it's part of a German K98 Mauser rifle cleaning kit

[jgoetz4]

Very cool find too bad there wasn't a German Luger close by.
