I had a great time finding things in the field. I got a few things including a Navy button and a 1908 Barber quarter!! I guess I needed a hair cut!!

I only have one Barber quarter, that coin is really hard for me to find... I've found 3 halves, but just one lonely quarter.

Well done sir, congrats!

Never dug one, tho A Barber Quarter is on my to Dig list before the 'big gig in the sky'. The reverse seems to have more wear than the front , I find this common with Barber coins & esp, Seated Dimes.

Sweet find, could we see a picture of the Navy Button cleaned up a little ? if not that's cool.

Dave- I was planning on posting a photo of the button soon, but I have been busy at work and such. But I certainly will do that soon!! I was surprised when it came out the ground! But that soil is hard on copper and brass for some reason and I don’t want to lose any of the detail on it.

that barber put his scissors down long ago but i love em
