I'm taking a short two night trip to California today. It was like 5° or less at the Denver Airport and flights are running way behind. De-icing the planes really held things up. First they douse the plane all over with some brown stuff and after that, they cover it with a green smelly Palmolive looking dish soap coating then we got in line behind all the other planes. Finally we got up to some blue skies.

There were some decades living here in Colorado you would see temps getting close to 70° this time of year. Those were the decades they'd say average temperatures are rising and a thing called global warming was on the lips of a lot of folks. I'm leaving southern California around noon today and It's feeling pretty bone chilling cold in these down in upper 40° rainy weather going on here. Guess in Denver it'll be nice and sunny into 30s kind of day with no humidity. That's the kind of climate change I think I'm gonna be just fine with, later this afternoon going home with that mile high sunshine coming though the windshield of my truck.

Well we've managed to stay a little warmer than Denver and the Front Range here in the mountains most days. It was 11 below this morning when I got off work but has warmed up to 10 above now. And I knew newnan man would pop up somewhere in this post, that rascal, haha!
