Ha! That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. And amazingly, I'm sure people actually fall for this nonsense.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, I wonder if they have any customers.

Show me a washing machine or dryer that takes halves, then I'll consider the premise that we are doing it wrong when it comes to dumping. Only those that are gluttons for punishment search quarters.

Hey, if I have to count the laundry quarters I may as we'll search for silver while I'm doing it! Lots of proofs too.

For some people, this might be a decent deal. For people that do not drive, it very well might be cheaper to have them shipped to their door than to pay for a taxi ride to the bank.

Have you ever tried searching quarters? What were your results and how many boxes searched? I ask because quarters have actually been producing more than dimes for me lately.

Right, I think it is a "city dweller" thing. I was in D.C. a few weeks ago, staying in a high-rise for seven days. Between doing laundry and paying tolls we went through $30 bucks in quarters. We did have a hard time finding enough quarters, but then we didn't know were the closest banks were. If I lived in a high-rise, didn't drive and the nearest bank was 8 blocks away...
