Getting to exposed bedrock under the water

I am looking for help accessing exposed bedrock. The water is realtively shallow, under 2 feet or so but it moves quickely. There are many cracks at the bootom of the creek along the exposed bedrock that I want to clean out but it is expretely tough with the fast moving water. Besides a sucker pump and dredge does anyone have any suggestions to access these creeks and real be able to see what I am doing?

suggestions to access these creeks and real be able to see what I am doing?

build a dam.

Wait for the water level to go down.

Divert water flow using river rock. make a dam with big rocks... then get a breaker bar or chisels and crack open that bed rock. Yep lots of work, but you be the judge if its worth it.
