"Ghost Diamond" found at the Crater of Diamonds State Park

MURFREESBORO, Ark. (AP) -- A retired minister from Diamond, Mo., may have been destined to find a diamond at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. But Mack Evans said the 4.89-carat rock he discovered recently didn't even look like a diamond, and he almost threw it away.

Didn't somebody post a "prediction" a few weeks back that there would be another large diamond from the Crater announced soon ? Something about a fair amount of excitement at the park while they were there, or something like that...........

I don't know DiggEmAll. I know I pass by there quite a few times on my way to Hot Springs, I always said I would stop in the Crater of Diamonds Park but never did yet. I guess I need to haul my butt there!
