Ghost town gives up early dog tag, but that's about it.......

Hit a ghost town site today for a few hours. Didn't get much to show for my effort, but I did snag a nice early dog tag. 1906. And I love it because it is shaped like a horse shoe, and the number on it is 21. Wonder if the dogs name was LUCKY!! Even with a little plow damage I still think it's great. And it's now my second oldest dog tag. I found a 1900 Grand Haven a few years ago. Also got a suspender clip and jar lid insert. HH all. Dan

Unique dog tag there Dan, never have seen one like that. Also, that jar lid does not seem like the common type, might be worth a few bucks? ffd

Sweet dog tag Dan. I've never seen that jar lid either....could be a keeper. Any patent date on the suspender?

That's a cool dog tag, and a jar insert like I've never seen. WTG! If you found a Grand Haven dog tag, you must be hunting near me.
