Ghost Town in SoCal just sold

Hi Don! Great to see you are still writing! I miss my old T-Net friends so much! Have had some major health issues but I am still on the top side of the dirt so I can't complain! I have been to Nipton many many times over the years and have some great stories and history to share with you and our T-Net friends. I also have some early nice covers (Don will explain covers to you as I am too far into my cups at the moment!) It has been a long time since I have posted on T-Net but looking forward to getting back on the trail! I also think you and I can revive the Stamp Forum. I am very excited and hope I can fit back in again!

Been through Nipton dozens of times over the years, starting about
1970 (ish). It's really nothing more than a wide spot in the road where
the RR tracks cross. Don't blink, and if ya go off road watch for uncovered
mine shafts..they're everywhere.

It's on Nipton Hwy, just a few miles off of I-15 between Vegas Nv. and
Baker Ca. Go though Nipton and you eventually get to Searchlight,
which has grown considerably over the years. Continue through
Searchlight and you'll wind up at Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mead.
