I don't know anything about it other than it's older and has a nice look. Is is currently working? Some fresh paint will make it look pretty awesome.

My Grandfather worked for Gibson Refrigerators, in the 1950's and 60's, in Greenville Michigan, where they made them.

I found a picture but nothing else. It was titled: "1940's Gibson Refrigerator - Retro Antique Vintage Original." So, at least you now know it was made in the 1940's?

Yeah, it looks like a late 40's "double feature" model. Your missing a drawer and a shelf or two also.

Very cool that your grandpa worked for them. Also it runs great.. I will try to find 1940s Gibsons.. I couldn't find much on google

I believe your refrigerator dates somewhere between the two models listed below. The ad is from 1947 and the one pictured on ebay appears to be an early 1940's model. This is the 1947 ad from one similar to yours, notice the slightly different door set up with the center lock.

Here is the one on ebay with the same door set up but different interior. I believe yours is a few years newer because the interior on yours is similar to the "new" double feature interior enhancements as shown above yet maintains the same door as this older version.
