Gilpin County Colorado treasure?

Anyone hear any stories about Gilpin County treasure on Ralston creek? Or about the town of Gilpin? I have heard about a robbery in the town/fort of Gilpin but can't find info. A chest of gold was hidden on Ralson creek but that's all I know. Any info or links would be helpful.

Thanks but looking for stories about a theft from the town of Gilpin and about the chest of gold on Ralston creek. I need more info I might have found one and researching the other. Need more leads on both! Books?
