Have you used psychics or remote viewers to find treasures?

Hi,
My name is Tommi. I've been studying and doing remote viewing for last 8 years and I'm a beginner in treasure hunting. I'm came here to share my experiences in RV and learn about treasure hunting.

That being said, 3-4 years ago came to an idea to combine remote viewing with treasure hunting. Meaning that I would use RV to find and detect possible locations of treasures or even piece of jewelry on a beach or whatever another site. I have tested a couple of times to find a piece of pyrite hidden by my friends. I had to find a location and describe it. And I did. I'm curious has anyone else earlier tried to use RV or psychics to find valuables?

SORRY So Long

I Would Never Trust a Psychic, But at The same Time Would Trust my Own Psychic mental Abilities.

(i.e. Dreams , Hunches)

I Don't believe a Person Can Turn off & On Psychic Abilities.
But at The Same Time, Know I've had psychic dreams and knowledge on occasion.

Example : a Very Vivid Dream :Last Month I was Dreaming, I was Driving up Town
with Someone & My Car started ZigZagging Like The Front end let Loose. I asked the Person With Me, Did I Imagine That ? Or did it happen? He said It was the Car. I turned Around and Slowly Drove Back Home.

Now , so you know. My Car is Solid ! I Can let go of the Steering Wheel & Go Straight for a bit . There Is Nothing That would Make me Worry. or Hint of a Steering Issue

however 2 weeks after the dream I Took my car for Inspection.
Was Told I Need a CV Axle , The Boot is Dry Rotted ! I Hope to get it Fixed Next week

I Also have Dreams of No Breaks When My Car ends up Needing Them.

I Used to Be able to Predict When & Where to buy a Lottery ticket By My Dream. Depending on Where I Find a Lot of Coins
just Laying on the Ground ! not with a Detector.
in a dream, I Would Buy a Ticket as Close as Possible to that Spot & Always Come out ahead by Only Buying After the Dream. I Screwed up By Telling Someone.
It no longer Works Even When I Have the dreams

All jokes aside. I do not like the word Psychic, It has been used too many times over the year by scam artists I prefer to call people having instinct some left over ability passing on through generations from hunter and gatherer era. For most of us? our hunter and gatherer instinct is today what we can rustle up in fridge and get from the shops. In olden times when life from was from day to day to survive people instincts had to be a lot sharper.

Thus our ancestors everyday existence was life and death and they was in tune with nature more. Some people have an uncanny ability to predict things with intuitive instinct.

For me I have zilch zero talent in that area.

In all honesty I once had a dream about finding treasure in a very specific place and when I woke up I was so sure it was real that I went to that place and looked and sure enough that very day I found a substantial treasure in that exact place. But I've always chalked it up to random chance than actual psychic powers or anything supernatural.

A well-used but meaningful adage for this question might be, "You don't find treasure, treasure finds you." IMO, this doesn't simply mean you're going to trip over a pile of gold coins some day. But you may sometime find yourself in a situation where your own abilities can be used to solve a riddle that could enrich you. This isn't something coming from a lifetime hobby of reading about well-known treasure tales from magazines and TNet - more like a promising opportunity that tickles you unexpectedly from out of the blue. As Bob Dylan's character in Idiot Wind said, "I can't help it if I'm lucky."

Should psychics and dowsers be the direction you turn to? Not as your primary tools. Hard work, critical thinking, and methodical detective work ought to be your method of attack, IMO, and if there's any reward for this, your diligence will likely be why.

That said, I met one woman unexpectedly who indeed had intuitive abilities and without me inquiring, told me things she had no business knowing about relating to a secret target I was chasing in my robust youth. No X on a map, no solution from her - just a surprising awareness of details about what I was up to. And also an accurate anecdote about my partner, whom I hadn't even mentioned. These people exist.

I did solicit ideas from dowsers back in those days. My conclusion: never deal with a dowser who wants to be paid. My experiences: two dowsers who actually did lead me to things on a map. No charge, just offering opinions. These opinions had nothing to do with my true target, but were unmistakable hits, based on what I asked for, which was "physical proof of human activity in remote locations." The maps I provided were topo maps with all locational clues whitened out, then xeroxed. No survey info, canyon or creek names, et al - nothing but anonymous contours. One guy from Montana gave me four targets, two were quite accurate, even if irrelevant. Then he died before I could ask him about me particular search area. His other two random targets are still on my list of places to go, but I'm getting too old to do anything about them, even though I'm still curious.

The second dowser was local, very old and became quite a friend. His daddy was a treasure hunter and dowser of outlaw loot in the TX/NM border country and he showed me quite an impressive prize they found together in a fence posthole when he was young. He said, "Test me", so I did. Same kind of topo map. He gave me twelve targets in an area of about 10-15 square miles to check. After several trips in those hills, I found nine hits - mine dumps, claim corners, corral, camp site, pile of junk, windmill, an old wagon, and other stuff. He used a pendulum made of a plastic 35mm film roll container filled with amethyst crystals. He also gave me a couple targets that he thought may have something valuable "in the rocks". He was wheelchair bound and never able to check them out himself. One I searched numerous times, but it's a huge area with nothing but hoodoos, ledges and rocks and I haven't found anything. The other is on private property that I haven't been to. This guy died at 83 in 2004.

Bottom line: use your own abilities and verify any opinions and facts as you go. Don't assume things because they sound good. If you want to ask psychics or dowsers about things, treat their answers as you would any other opinions or facts and try to verify them.

I, like Jeff of Pa, have mixed feelings on the subject of “psychics”. I’ve always thought they’re a complete sham, but at the same time I’ve had a lot of experiences myself there are too coincidental to just be coincidental, and I’ve experienced it all my life.

My first mind blowing moment was in third grade. I was in class and it was near Thanksgiving time. We had done a construction project a few days before where we had taken paper pie plates and our handprints and made Thanksgiving turkeys out of them, which we each hung from a thumbtack and string from the ceiling in the classroom. During class, one of my desk mates looked over at me randomly, and for some reason, I took my hand and made a gun shape with it, and pointed at one of the turkeys and pulled my imaginary thumb trigger. At that very second that very turkey that had been hanging there for days fell from the ceiling. The other student looked at me like I was an alien, and it freaked me out too. Obviously, I’ve never forgotten that.


My climbing partner for years called me psychic as a joke because things happened a lot. One time, years after he had already been calling me that, we had just climbed the grand Teton and we were racing to get to a wedding party that night. He was driving pretty fast and we were in a forest in the dark, and I suddenly screamed for him to slow down, saying that there was a deer in the road around the bend. Sure, enough around that bend and right there in the middle of the road was a buck just standing there looking at us in the headlights before he ran off.

At least once or twice a day, I will think of someone and within seconds my phone will ring or ping with a call or text from that person. I’m sure that happens to a lot of people, but it happens to me a lot. Also, I get cold sores once or twice a year. Most of the times, but not all, I have a dream a night or two before I get them that I have one. I don’t think that can be chalked up to coincidence, but perhaps to some manifestation of them, i.e. stress.

I don’t know what I believe as far as those things go, but as much as logic tells me it’s not possible, it seems I’m proven wrong by logic a lot. Good luck in your hunting.
