Reid and I got out a couple times in the last week at an old site that has started to produce again with some patient hunting in the heavy iron. Reid has done well with a nice Mass. coat, an early 1-piece navy and a colonial copper. My best finds included a nice gilted navy cuff, and partially gilted eagle and a carved minnie - probably a chess piece. Also found one of those National Home for Disabled Veteran Soldiers buttons which are very common around here with the old VA hospital in the area. We'll probably continue to hit this place from time to time, but the ground is getting to the point that digging will be next to impossible. Guess its almost time to start hitting the oceanfront.
