✅ SOLVED Globe works button or marker???

The lettering I can read says: inside the outer ring "Royal Emproved"
Lower outside ring says "Globe Works" can not read the top lettering.
Found around an 1800 built home.
Any help appreciated.

based on the shank of say its a saw nut, look at some old handsaws. they all have them
