GM2k vs. Legend2

Wife loves her GM1k and they seem pretty well built. I've never used anything Nokta.
Is this and apples to apples comparison or is there a clear winner for desert and light beach detecting?

The Legend would be much better for beach wet sand and water use. It would also be much better for any place with iron junk to wade through. Get a Manticore and have the best of all worlds.... beach, park, field, gold prospecting and shallow salt water.
