headed out to another spot this morning
got the 14k yellow in the first half hour - so my day was made
then saw big heavy fatty bout an hour later - to good to be true
tunsten
place was pretty hammered - towards the end of the hunt i had my mask on top of my head
kept chasing a target on the bottom - thought i had a can lid or kids toy
put mask on and looked down = GoPro -
looks like its dry inside
will check when i get home

Check the SD card, even if the camera is toasted the SD cards tend to survive just fine.

finally had time to take pics of all finds from the day - opened gopro - its dry
had a cord for an older camera that fit and open files - just like 10 short vids of the beach it was found on
no talking - it needs some cleaning still - may get a mask that fits it and try to use in the future

Not as much as you'd think - this spot and another commonly hit by others had can tops and bottoms dumped back and were on the surface along with most of the older pulltabs
I usually dig these at depth - 1 1/2 to 2 feet down - in past have caught 2 guys throwing them back

I CAUGHT AN OLDER RETIRED GENTLEMAN THROWING CAN PARTS BACK OVER HIS SHOULDER
FINALLY I ASKED HIM WTF - HE SAID HIS POUCH WAS TOO SMALL FOR THEM - HIS POUCH WAS NO SMALLER THAN MINE
AND THEN HE SAID HE DIDNT WANT TO RISK CUTTING HIMSELF BY REACHING IN TO IT
SO I SAID NO YOU'D RATHER SOME KID STEP ON IT AND CUT HIS FOOT - HE BRUSHED ME OFF AND CONTINUED HUNTING
ABOUT A YEAR LATER SAW HIM AGAIN AND JUMPED IN RIGHT ON TOP OF HIM - WHICH I NEVER DO TO ANOTHER HUNTER
I GOT A LOUD BLAST NEAR BY AND STUCK MY FACE IN WITH MASK AND SAW CAN TOP AND COULD SEE HIS SCOOP HOLE
I SCOOPED IT UP AND SAID YOU DROPPED THIS. HE SHOOK HIS HEAD AND MADE A BEE LINE AWAY FROM ME - I CONTINUED IN THAT AREA AND GOT A SWISS WATCH - WORKING - AND 2 GOLD RINGS.
I WROTE AN ARTICLE ON THE IMPORTANCE OF TAKING OUT YOUR TRASH (IF SOME DOES NOT HAVE LINKS TO MY ARTICLE SITE AND WOULD LIKE IT - DROP ME A PM) - A BEACH DOWN THE STREET FROM ONE JUST MENTIONED - WHICH HE ALSO HITS - I WENT OUT AND PPLACE WAS CLEANED OUT
SUDDENLY I GOT A LOUD BLAST - LOOKED AND SAW CAN BOTTOM - I PICKED IT UP AND AS I WENT TO CONTINUE - I SWEPT MY COIL OVER WHERE IT HAD BEEN - I GOT A HIT - SCOOPED AND PULLED OUT A RUSTY BOTTLE CAP - RECHECKED AND GOT ANOTHER SIGNAL - PULLED OUT A ZINC - SCANNED AGAIN AND GOT ANOTHER BOTTLE CAP - SCANNED ONCE MORE AND GOT A FAINT HIT AND DUG DEEP AND CAME UP WITH ONE OF MY TOP 5 HEAVIEST WEDDING BANDS -- DIDNT GET MUCH THE REST OF THE DAY - HAD HE JUST TAKEN THE PIECE OF TRASH OUT - HTAT BAND MIGH THAVE BEEN HIS
