Today Aquila and I hit a small field site. I found some old coppers, old FORD tag, pewter soldiers and some other usual field items. I also found a nice silver spoon. This kind of spoon is called as “godmothers spoon”. Godmother or godfather gives this kind of spoon to his or hers godchild as a christening gift.
All finds.
Spoon details: Godchild name, date of birth, time of birth, birth weight and length are engraved on the spoon.
Swedish skilling 1820
Headless horseman and armless soldier.
