Thanks!

I did a quick search on eBay for "Goebel 508 well". It showed 3 of then sold in the last 3 months from $10-$29. The one for $10 also had $11 shipping and the one for $29 had free shipping.

Good luck!

Thank you!

No, Just google GOEBELS 1938

Lets see down the street from me is an auction house,Skinner auctions. If you ever watched the antiques road show on tv Skinner appraisals and auctions is it,on the east coast anyway.Usually somebody from Skinner is always on the roadshow. To me anyway ebay is a farce, people taking advantage of people that know squat. On ebay all youre seeing is what somebody paid, youre not seeing what the true worth of your object is,you want that?Get it professionally appraised.

Yes, it is.

No it isnt:sign10:

LOL

Yes, it is.

An appraisal is nothing more than an opinion. That opinion may come from someone very knowledgeable but it is still an opinion. An object's "worth" is what somebody is willing to pay real money for at that moment in time. Let me know the next time your appraiser is willing to fork over his own money to acquire the item at his appraised value.
