I don't have one lol there was also a lot of old thick glass around all in a small bend in the creek . I went to another area still dident find anything but the kids had a blast and that's worth more than anything else. Wish I knew some of these farmers and could get in these fields and look.

I will soon I have my eye on a dart farm where the guy plows a lot of field my step dad knows him so I'm going to see if he will talk to him. I am going to take a vacation soon and look around some land my family has on Indian river ft pierce area where I was born may be a good place to metal detect too so may invest in one the family has owned the land sense early 1800s so maybe one way or the other I will find something cool

Ok just wanted to say that I talked to a few farmers and got told where I could go and how to get there and it wasent a nice place to be told to go if you know what I mean. My son got upset when one started yelling so I will leave him in the car from now on he can't handle someone getting mad he gets too upset about it I'm going to keep my head up and keep asking maybe ill find a spot that is ment for us. we went back down some creeks he is already addicted to looking so I got my first hunting buddy I'm glad he enjoys it.

Thats a shame people act like that. Sorry that happened. I dont go to the door for one reason and its due to I might be invading their privacy. I try a different approach. If I am driving and I happen to see them in the fields but not working I will stop and ask them. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Other times I will just wave at them a few times and then ask. Kinda give them a chance to see I am friendly. Farmers work real hard in all the elements outdoors so I try to be careful when I talk to them.
