going to cash in this summer's clad


Tomorrow I'm going to the National Bank and cash in the clad from this summers beach hunting. Got a small bucket full with about 20 punds of coins, 9.4 kg. Plus some older German Mark coins that I'll get 50 Euros for. Didn't count the Euros yet but I expect it to be about 1000 US$.

I would convert it to beer and maybe some precious metals, but mainly beer germans make the best.

What do they charge for cashing in the coins?

Thanks for the comments everybody! They don't charge anything at the bank. I got 795 Euros back, that's about 1040 US$. Not bad for about 30 Friday nights/Saturday mornings on the beach. Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Great haul!! The banks here in Florida want coins rolled and the machines charge a % of the total.
