metal detecting my butt off literally.

boy I can't wait!!!

leaving early friday morning and coming home monday and I told hubby he can surf fish the whole time, kiddo can play in water and sand,, and I am going to walk a hundred million miles detecting. I want gold rings.

everyone wish me luck.

I got all new batteries in my pinpointer and detector and I am raring to go!!!!!

wow I am so ready to detect. seems like a while since I got out there and hit it hard. this trip will be a detecting dream.

I will take that pixy dust. Just that thrill of possibly finding a big old diamond ring just calls my name. found a small 14K ring with very very very small diamond chips. All it did was make me want more.

You know, if you go ask the guys in the beach forum I'll bet they could help steer you in the right direction, get you even more pumped up. Just ask, "Where's the best places on the beach to find gold?" A lot of those guys know right where to look.

I didn't know we had a beach forum. I must have missed it. heck I have to explore this site a bit more. I read Todays Finds alot but haven't really checked out the other categories.

I always thought detecting right along the line of umbrellas was a good idea but I did find that small ring up by the sand dune.

yes now you went and done it!! now I want to get to that beach more than ever.


also I am planning a big trip to Florida next year. like 10 days at a beach in a state park. You know I can't wait for that trip now either

man treasure haul just makes my gold fever worse and worse.


worse thing is the 'family' wants me to hang out and have fun with them. forget that...haha...I am putting the coil down and walking a million miles.
then they have the nerve to ask me to fix dinner or something...geez lol

I feel the same way about my inflatable yellow pool tube. People see me detecting in the water with that yellow duck wrapped around me and they just don't get it.
