Gold #22 has a little heft to it

Howdy all,
Tonight the ladies talked me in to drivin around and lookin for tot lots to hunt. So I started out hunting elementary fields. My results were needless to say very poor. So after a few stops we hit a middle school sports field. I have been by this field before but never hunted it. There are always tons of people there. Tonight we managed to beat them at least for a little while. I worked at one end of the field for about 35 to 40 minutes diggin clad and trash. Then bam. I popped this nice hunk of gold. The stamp is almost worn off but it acid tested at 10k. I am assuming the stamp was 417. The 4 is the only number left partly visible. And at a little over 18 grams it adds a bit of weight to the ever growing pile. I am gonna try this spot early in the morning tommorrow and see what else is there. We ended up overcrowded after about an hour or so. The targets are more than enough to keep me busy and I have no clients scheduled for the day. So looks like a day off to hunt.
