Don’t you mean Fire Gold?
Should be a window of time that is easy pickings with the brush gone and the heavy duff burned up.

Nice finds. Congrats :icon_thumright:

oneguy, did someone claim your spot? or just loose lips? i found these in a tributary. it wasnt on the hillsides. but i have passed by this tributary many, many times because the grass was always two feet tall....not anymore. the 2 gram piece was pretty deep. the first target was a nail, but i know theres a good chance of multiple targets...and gold was one of them. ridiculous amounts of bird shot. luckily most were 8 shot so it took a concentration of them to produce a signal. went looking for new ground today... struck out. got one .3 gram in a tributary, that is all. better swing while the swinging is easy, it wont be long before there is a carpet of buck brush sprouts

Nicely done, and all the best,
