Hello Everyone! :hello:

Decided to knock off work an hour early today to hit a playground that I'd spotted earlier this week. I was on the site for only about 15 minutes when this beauty popped out of the sand! :o It's marked 10K inside and has three rows of diamonds. It was only about 3" down, so it must have been a pretty recent loss. Also found $2.40 in change and a very cool Hot Wheels T-Bird!

Best of luck to all,
Dave

:oWOW! I know you did the happy dance when you found that ring! Congrats!

It's funny you should say that, because when I found it there was a young couple sitting on the grass right next to the playground. The guy said, "did you just find that in the sand"? I said "yup", and he said, "man that's amazing"! You can see his girlfriends sandals at the bottom of the picture.

Thanks,
Dave

Thanks Lookin, that's why I hunt them too. :icon_thumright: I'm always amazed at the amount of coins that kids seem to lose! I only wish they would lose more of our $1 & $2 coins and less pennies! :laughing7:

YEEE HAAAH ! Nice Gold and diamond ring Dave ! Finds like that keep the blood flowing . :hello2: M.R.

The T-bird looks older I have 1 just like it that and one with the port hole windows, they have 1977 on the bottom. At one time they booked for about $50-$55 apiece.

Wow, score, that's almost a banner!!!

Thanks buddy, it sure does! :icon_thumright:
I was lucky I didn't have a stroke when I first saw it! :D
I initially figured it had to be a junk ring, thankfully I was wrong! :laughing7:

Yeah, mine has the same thing on the bottom - Hot Wheels, '57 T-Bird, 1977. This baby was die cast, it's heavy and other then a couple of flecks off the paint it looks pretty good for having been in the sand.

Thanks,
Dave
