I'm sure it is. I found one several years ago just like it. Must have been some after market set many years ago.

Cool find, I've found a similar one as well. I put it in a bezel on a necklace for my fiancee to wear

I also found one last year but mine was coated with shilac on both sides. The shilac actually popped right off with a bit of help. Cool piece

lol must be more of them out there than you think.....I have a couple that I got as "artist" pieces....they do look good....
