Gold Hammered Field - Day 3...

Dad & I continued gridding the field that I had made a start on over the last 2 outing. We did 4 hours 15 minutes but the Oat Stubble was hard going & the ground is starting to dry up.
I've shown a little map of our progress to date.

Fingers crossed. We got our gold for the year but our Roman Coin count looks like it maybe down.

Its always amazing to not only see what you find but for you to be able to tell what all those odds bits of metal are . Your knowledge in the stuff you dig is incredible . To me so much of that stuff is watsits and you know exactly what you find .......
