Gold In Arkansas?

They have going gold at the crater but it is tiny.

You know if any color at all has been found in the creeks around Greers Ferry lake, especially on the north side?

Do your research, the river there by the Crater of Diamonds State park has the upper part of it designated as a protected waterway. The state park it's self owns a section of the river as well. As long as you stay clear of these areas and any river areas that are on active claims, and are on public land you are probably ok. GPAA has a claim in Polk Co. AR. There were rumors of gold in a few of the other counties but I've not heard of any productive gold mines in the state.

Thanks for the info tunnel rat. I was at the crater two weeks ago. no luck finding a diamond. Going back in october probably bring my sluice and check out some creeks for gold and might get lucky and find a diamond in the creek.
