Need help on this one. I've had this for several years and would like some info on it, age, maker and value(if any) The only markings on it besides the capital scrool F on the seal is C.T. then what appears to be a backwards R then/ CO. on one the clasp then on the other clasp it has S.O. (unreadable letter) then / CO. It looks to be gold, but has no markings stating so,nor have I had it tested , any help would be appreciated .

Hey rvrpilot :hello2: Not sure what you mean. Is the engraved letter F, as you would normally read it , or a mirror image?

Its is not a mirrored image, just engraved capital F, so I think I would eliminate it being some sort of seal or stamp.

My considered opinion ;D is that it is Gold -
and either part of a Man's Fob chain, or a Lady's Chatelaine.

agreed, but Gold Plated & the Seal is for fashion, instead of function.
