Gold Monster 2000 – Best Settings for Small Gold & Mineralized Ground

I've been taking a closer look at the Minelab Gold Monster 2000 and especially how its settings affect performance when searching for very small gold in mineralized ground.

One of the most important things with this detector is finding the right balance between sensitivity, ground conditions, and stability. Running sensitivity too high can sometimes create unnecessary noise, while the correct setup can make small targets much easier to identify.

The GM 2000 includes features such as Multi-Au technology, Gold Chance Indicator, Target ID, Easy-Trak and Quick-Trak ground balance, along with different sensitivity options depending on the terrain.

We recently put together a detailed guide covering the main settings, ground balance, sensitivity, discrimination, coils, and some recommended setups for different ground conditions.

What sensitivity level are you getting the best results with, especially in highly mineralized ground?
