Gold Necklace with Sterling Pendant, Early Merc, Old Indian

Today I did some woods hunting with the big coil on the 800. It started off quiet with some clad so I walked further down the train tracks to a different area.

The necklace had a bouncy VDI from 18 thru 22 so it was a nice surprise for a iffy signal. Then a bit later I find a 1916 Merc and then a 1864 Indian. Andre's Pencils work great on coppers but this one will take a while to clean up. I'll be making another trip next weekend to search the rest of the area. Can anyone ID the pendant?

😂 I ruined the excitement by looking for the mint mark before the year. I usually don't find older Mercs so i assumed it wasn't an early one when I first picked it up. Pleasantly surprised to find a fresh 1916.
