My thought? I think it's time for a cup of coffee! Seriously, interesting find. :coffee2:

Those are reproduction 'sycees'... originally a form of ingot currency used in China from the 3rd Century BC all the way through until the end of the Qing dynasty in 1912.

However, in modern times they have been widely manufactured as imitations for gifting as a symbol of good luck or prosperity among Chinese people... especially during the Chinese New Year. Those are 'modern' as Matt says... at least in the sense that they aren't genuine early currency items. They nevertheless might have some years of age to them, but won't be valuable since they have been commonly produced in base metal (with and without plating) for many years.

Now I'm thinking that I need to get me one of those Ekeko dolls (the pre-Columbian god of abundance and prosperity) and shove one of these Feng Shui ingots into its mouth (instead of that cancer-causing cigar!)

Can't hurt?
Got to hedge your bets. Right? :)
