Gold plated?

So when i was going though my 4 boxes this week this was in box 2..

4 40%
4 of the gold plated
1 2009


Anyone have any ideas what they are or value?

The golds are really bad fake golds or they are golds but are really circulated but good job one the 4 40's and the 2009!

Worth anything more than .50?

Keep the gold-plated 1970 and earlier halves. Toss the rest to the wild.

if the gold plated half dollar coins are 1970 or earler * keep them --for the the under the plating silver value * ==otherwize their basically useless clad - 50 cent pieces. --the ultra thin gold plating is too much of a pain in the rear for refiners to seperate to be worth while for its fiscal value
