With desires to prospect and deep sea fish, you can't find a better spouse in my book. Definitely a keeper! Be sure to take lots of pictures. Enjoy and best wishes.

Thanks everyone! Im just lucky she put up with me and my crap for 15 years LOL!!

In less than 24 hours Ill be on a plane to Los Angeles to head up to Ventura/Oxnard area to see my dad. Its our 15 year wedding anniversary on Wednesday and the wife said she wants to go prospecting and deep sea fishing. We will be heading up the San Gabriel East Fork for some prospecting!

Feel free to message me if you have any questions about where to go at the Fork. Good luck!

I will do that if I have questions. Thank you! A friend of mine just moved to Utah from down there and he let me know some good places to go where he did well.

Semper Fi...every place you go has hidden treasure.

Lake Piru is a lor closer-go to the creek at the rear feeding. Hardluck campground at Lake Pyramid in the grapevine north of Sylmar also. John

Woohoo Ventura/Oxnard- my stomping grounds!!
Welcome and good luck to you in both adventures!!

Jonsing myself to hit the East fork as well.....someday ;)

Please post both final tallies (Gold and Fish) :icon_thumleft:

Best of luck on both, the East fork should have some fresh gold if it's not flowing too high. A couple of friends just fished the Pacific Dawn out of Ventura and caught limits of rock and ling cod.
