Hello everyone!
It's been a while since my last post, and over a month or so since my last visit here on t-net for some reason, but now I decided it was time to break the silence and post again!
This hunt took place on Friday night, and my buddy and I drove to a town with some nice lake beaches, about an hour away from where we live.
The first beach we hit produced nothing but some coins and trash for me, but my buddy was able to recover two nice silver rings from that spot. And the second spot wasn't any better for me at first, and my friend pulled two silver rings again, and I was just digging foil and pull tabs in order to find some gold. Just when I was about give up, I swept my coil over a loud target and I saw a gold ring in the grass, shining in the beam of my headlamp! I sure did the dance!
It's my fourth gold ring this season, marked 585 which is 14k. There's also "käsityö" stamped on it, which is Finnish for handwork. Never seen a marking like that on a ring before...
Not much coins because I was mainly after gold this time.
