Hello Everyone,
Today was in the high 40βs β low 50βs in Massachusetts; great digging weather. The only question was the ground frozen, but with all of the rain and melting snow the digging was perfect! We went to a local school looking for some keepers, but were actually just glad to be given the opportunity to hunt in January. We used the Minelab 705 (18.75 Khz coil) with an interesting game plan, dig only lower mid-tone numbers between 4-14 (foil thru nickels) with the idea of finding gold, nickels or junk! It is sometimes fun just to look for a specific target and see what happens! We found as hoped Nickels, lots of Foil and a 10K Gold ring.
Thanks for looking.
