Found my first gold ever last year then found a second gold later in the year. Found the first early in the year (Feb. )
and the second in December. Sorry to say I don't find much gold.
This year my second hunt of the year I find gold already, it was part of a ring. Less then two weeks later I found another gold, this one a Sweet 10k gold ring with real diamonds. The same day I found this second ring I found a junker ring that looked really good in the hole, just plated though. Also found a war nickel, buffalo and a token.
It's been a great start for me for better finds, hope it continues.
My first hunt for the year I found a silver bracelet, 2 7/16"s by 1/4" wide silver bangle bracelet.

Well done DS. That first pic looks like a jade ring. Please show us better pics of that. It looks really good!

Congrats on the other finds, and good to see you back and posting!

Thanks Sir!! Good to be back. I don't think our finds will be as nice or plentiful as last year, were running out of places to look. Lol
The kid and I both hit our goal of finding 100 silvers for the year. Hopefully we'll have a decent year anyway.

The first piece of ring I found I thought looked like ivory?

Wonderful cameo ring. I'm trying to make out the details -- is that a woman leaning over a tombstone? Any markings inside the shank? It's beautiful.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The piece of gold ring I found had no markings and we couldn't find anymore of the ring. The property where it was found has been hit for years by others. An old Civil War site where the battle of Monterey was fought.
Here's an enlarged pic of the one I already posted.

That's an excellent close-up Deershed, and it does appear to be a mourning piece. Sardonyx? I wonder what the karat is? A most wonderful find!

I'm going with a Victorian-era pole dancer , LOL
