Gold ring with inset diamond found in Hong Kong

My first valuable ring find since I started a few months back, and it has a diamond in it. Very art deco. My friend thinks it's a granny ring, very old, maybe European or American.





For my first ring my initial reaction was pretty austere, almost Vulcan . I am still in disbelief that I even found it I can't even bring myself to celebrate haha. I'll bring it to a jeweler tomorrow just to get a look at the diamond and find out more about it, otherwise it's a keeper for me being my first and all.

Pretty dang awesome! My first diamond ring had me feeling the same way. The other two I found were just "chip" diamond rings, though, so I suspect, if I ever find another good one, it'll be back to cloud nine!
